This Blog

  • This blog is about how companies are grappling with the democratization of business -- the emerging reality that employees, partners, independent experts, NGOs, bloggers, and other stakeholders can have just as much influence over future success as executive management. In that context, I'm especially interested in three particular challenges that B2B companies are facing in the areas of marketing and sales: how to build your reputation amid hyper-competition and total transparency; how to leverage that reputation to generate sales in a buyer-driven market; and how best to respond to the growing pressures of corporate social and environmental responsibility.
